Attorney Georgiades has practiced family law exclusively since 2014. Prior to joining the firm in 2016, she practiced at another prominent matrimonial firm in Greenwich, Connecticut. She has experience in handling all aspects of high-net-worth dissolution matters, including alimony, child support, asset distribution and custody issues, with a concentration on high conflict custody cases involving substance abuse and/or mental health. She has extensive experience litigating, negotiating and mediating dissolution cases, post judgment enforcement and modification actions, and drafting prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.  

Attorney Georgiades is fiercely devoted to her clients and approaches each case with a view towards accomplishing her client’s goals within the bounds of the facts and applicable law. Her background in psychology assists her in understanding and communicating effectively with her clients and establishing a level of trust required to lead them through the divorce process from start to finish.

Attorney Georgiades obtained her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Connecticut in 2010. She graduated with her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2013. There, she excelled in her elective studies which were concentrated on matrimonial law. She participated in the school’s Mediation Clinic where she obtained invaluable alternative dispute resolution and negotiation skills that are fundamental to the practice of family law. She also served as an editor of the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal where she was able to hone her legal research and writing skills. During law school, she sought internship positions that were focused on the areas of matrimonial and family law, including an internship with the supervising judge of the Nassau County Family Court, and with the Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence, where she gained practical experience in abuse and neglect proceedings and custody cases.

Attorney Georgiades is a member of the Fairfield County Bar Association and the Connecticut Bar Association. When she is not practicing law, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her dog. A native of Long Island, Attorney Georgiades currently resides with her husband in Southport, Connecticut.
