Attorney Bonnie L. Amendola received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1998 and graduated, cum laude, from the University of Connecticut Law School in 1992. She is admitted to practice in Connecticut and to the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut since 1992.
Throughout her practice Bonnie has been a dedicated advocate for children in contested custody cases serving as both an attorney for minor children and as guardian ad litem. Bonnie has represented grandparents in third party visitation cases and has experience in alternative reproductive technology cases and probate matters.
Bonnie is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, where she currently serves as Treasurer of the Connecticut Chapter.
Bonnie regularly serves the Connecticut Superior Court as a Special Master in family cases including contested custody matters pending before the Regional Family Trial Docket. Bonnie has acted as a private mediator and binding arbitrator in family cases dealing with complex financial cases and contested custody matters. Bonnie has also served as a Parent Coordinator to assist parents in resolving their custody and parenting disputes post dissolution.
Bonnie is an active member of the American Bar Association, Family Law Section, Connecticut Bar Association, Family Law Section and Greater Bridgeport Bar Association, Family Law Section and Fairfield County Bar Association. She is a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.
